I recently had a major cervical and spine surgery. But still the pain is very severe with me taking 20mg of oxycodone every 3 hrs plus 1000 mg of Tylenol Extra every 6 hrs. What do you suggest?

Hello, Salem! How are you?

You may want to try asking your doctor about trying Oxycontin, it's a time released formulation of the Oxycodone that lasts for 12 hours, so it could give you better pain control.

This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation.

Is there anything else I can help with?
