I take Percocet 3x a day for Chronic pain from my neck down. The Percocet does not last the 8 hours like the bottle say. Just wondering if i could take a 1 pill of Equate with Acetaminophen 500mg with one Percocet. or one Tylenol with Acetaminophen 325mg with 1 Percocet. Would this be safe !!!! The Percocet that i take 3x a day only last 2 hours if that. I also take 3x a day Gabapentin 600 mg but makes me really tried all day so i stop taking them.

What specifically are you taking? Can you please post back and clarify with the details from the prescription bottle?
The reason I am asking is because Percocet contains Acetaminophen with Oxycodone, so it may not be safe for you to add more.
The FDA warns that Percocet carries the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, dry mouth, and constipation.
