Nausea With Upping Dosage

about 2 weeks ago(17 days ago),my doctor upped me from 50 mg to 100 mg. (she had me try out 75 mg for a month and then switched to the 100 mg 17 days ago). the first few days at 100 mg,i got the dizzy spells. that went away. now the last few days(so have been on the increased dosage for 14 days) i get SO nauseous all day. i have the typical diarrhea too the past few days as well,had that when i first started a year ago and it went away with a couple weeks. is it normal for the nausea to come on so long after increasing it? is it because I have "enough of the medicine in my system"? i just feel so sick to my stomach. will that go away?

Yes, that can happen, as the new dosage builds up in your body to therapeutic levels. You may also experience other side effects, such as dry mouth, mood swings and weight changes, as reported by the FDA.

However, they should taper off in a couple more weeks and then eventually go away entirely, as your body adjusts. If they do not, then you should inform your doctor as you may need to try a different medication.
