have been taking nerve meds for years. taking pain medication. lately waking up naseus, go to bathroom tarry stool looking for over the counter relief good rest of day drink cola, or ginger ale eat lightly but stressed. iwork in a hospital i am a patient escorter hard work please advise.

Tarry stool could signify some serious health issues, such as internal bleeding. In this case, you really need to consult your doctor, you may have a stomach ulcer.

If you are stressed, that could be a contributing factor, but only your doctor is going to be able to help you get to the root of the problem and discover any possible solutions.
