Naproxen And Advil

Arthritis Neck pain is pretty intense. Was prescribed Ibuprofin 800s and pharm said to take four Advils. Been taking four in the morning and four at night for a couple weeks now. Hearing about kidney issues..what is another way to ease the pain of arthritis in the neck? Is TENS therapy something I should consider? And what is your opinion on the units being sold in drugstores these days?

Are you having kidney issues? Do you have kidney disease? If so, there's likely not much reason to worry about it, at this point. Such medications can also affect your liver, but there's no need to stop taking them, unless your doctor has instructed you to do so.

As to alternatives, there are actually many available, but you'd need to discuss your options with your doctor to see what's safe for you.

At this time, I have no opinion on those TENS units, I've just recently watched the ad for them, but haven't seen any or heard any first hand experiences, yet.

Is anyone else familiar with them?
