Naltrexone Hepatitis Making Me Very Ill

I have been court ordered to take the vivitrol shot & I'm about to get my 4th shot. I happy to be clean but I don't think the shot has anything to do with my sobriety. I am also diagnosed with hepatitis C. Since taking the shot I am always tired & I have ongoing cold symptoms. I also have something oily & very stinky constantly coming from my pores. I'm worried. Should I be? I'm afraid that the shot could cause me permanent damage.

It can cause those types of symptoms as side effects, as reported by the FDA. You may also experience nausea, nose bleeds and delayed orgasm.

It can cause hepatic problems, so your doctor should be doing regular blood checks to keep an eye on your liver function, especially with the hepatitis.

Have you told him about your symptoms?
