it was prescribed to me for a bad cough im just wondering if it has codeine in it thanks

One dosage had me very dizzy and woozy for awhile.

Hi Krusher,

Based on my research, this medication does contain Codeine as well as Guaifenesin. Codeine is a narcotics and is used as a cough suppressant that affects the signals in the brain that trigger cough reflex.

Guaifenesin works as an expectorant. It helps loosen congestion in your chest and throat, making it easier to cough out through your mouth.

Some side effects include: dizziness, drowsiness, headache, warmth, redness, or tingling under your skin,
nausea, vomiting, upset stomach, constipation,
skin rash or itching.

Seek emergency medical attention if you experience any of the following serious side effects: severe dizziness or drowsiness, confusion, hallucinations, unusual thoughts or behavior, urinating less than usual or not at all, slow heart rate, weak pulse, fainting, weak or shallow breathing.
