Myprodol And Panado

Can I take Myprodol if I took 3 Panado tablets about 30 minutes ago? I have got the worst headache ever and the Panado hasn't helped at all. It feels like a rubber band is squeezing my head. Pain is centred from the base of my neck up and over to between my eyes.

Both of these medications contain Acetaminophen/Paracetamol, which can be toxic, if taken in high dosages. According to current FDA reports, you shouldn't exceed over 1,000mgs every 8 hours, because such toxicity has the potential to cause severe liver damage, liver failure, and/or death.

Symptoms of overdose may include nausea, vomiting, lowered heart rate, lowered blood pressure, stomach pain, trouble breathing, dizziness, and unconsciousness. If someone experiences such symptoms, they should seek immediate emergency medical attention.

Thus, at this point, depending on the dosage of what you've already taken, it would most likely be safer for you to try a different medication, entirely, that doesn't contain Acetaminophen.
