i found these pills in my father's medicine cabinet. I asked him what they were and he didn't know and said he doesn't take them

Hi, Shelley! These are nothing to really worry about.

They contain 20mgs of Omeprazole, which is proton pump inhibitor that's used to help reduce the amount of acid produced by the stomach to treat or prevent conditions such as heartburn, GERD, ulcers and gastritis.

Side effects may include nausea, dizziness, flatulence and stomach pain.
