He is on 30 mg of morphine a day two immediate release and two extended release when his headaches get really bad he cant keep his meds down and eventually has withdrawals. On average he gets two days out of the week that he can function at his normal pain tolerance which is about a three he also throws up his meds on average four times a week the doctors have tried twenty five different treatments for him and none of them have been successful the morphine is the only thing that has been able to give him some relief please help any advice or anyone else going through the same thing and if you do what you do to live a half way normal life. PLEASE help

Hello, Kaitlynn! How is your boyfriend doing? I am so very sorry about what he's going through.
Has he ever tried shots, rather than taking pills? That would mean the medication gets into his system, even if he gets nauseous.
This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. I think that's something he should speak to his doctors about.
