For those of you who are looking for ways to stop or pre/postpone your period, I feel that it may be a good idea to work closely with a gynecologist who understands and specializes in the female reproductive system. Based on my observations, they seem to know better than general practitioners how it works as well as which hormones promote or inhibit certain bodily functions when taken at a particular time-frame within your menstrual cycle. Perhaps he/she could recommend a hormonal contraceptive that suits you best according to one's unique individual needs. Has anyone here gone this route yet?
