Muscular Dystrophy And Prednisolone (deltacortril)
UpdatedMy son has been a muscular dystrophy patient since age 9 and has used deltacortril ec 20mg for one and half years, daily. Now he has a lot of fluid retention and his face swelled so much his doctor recommend dropping the prednisolone gradually and adding imuran 50mg daily, but it feel like his muscle strength is not good. When dropping deltacortril ec he can't go upstairs easily. I need suggestions. Will it be good to increase his dose of imuran?
