Multaq Reduced Dose

I have been on multaq for over 2 years and no more afib. I would like to wean myself off by reducing the dowager 50%. Will this work? Thanks Bill

I'd suggest not reducing the dosage, until you consult with your doctor. If you do it too rapidly, it could cause a rebound effect, which may cause you to go into dangerous a-fib worse than that which you started taking it to treat. Reductions are best done very slowly and under the guidance and supervision of your physician.
