Ms Contin Side Effects

Will the side effects of MS Contin, (eg nausea and tiredness ) subside after time. I have been prescribed 10mg x twice a day but find the sickness and tiredness is still an issue and hope it is temporary and will settle down.

Yes, technically they should. Side effects are usually transient and go away, once your body gets used to a medication, but that may take 4 to 5 weeks.

The FDA warns that this medication carries the risk of being habit forming and may cause other side effects, such as dizziness, headache, dry mouth and constipation.

If they don't ease off, after that time period, then you should consult your prescriber, as you may need to try a different medication.
