Morphine To Subutex

I have been on morphine for about a year taking 100mg a day. I got 4 subs. If I take those 4 sub's will I not go through withdrawals or should I brake them up in half to make it 8 days of half a sub a day. I'm out of money and can't go to a doctor. I want to end this nightmare. Can anyone help me through this.

If your trying to taper, skip buperenorphine, it'll draw it out and be worse if ur current dose of morphine is small... bupe isn't for tapering it's for maintenence. To taper ur best off just doing it with current meds

Thanks for the reply I have 4 white pill forms of subutex. I'm starting withdrawals now but waiting for full effect . I am a big guy so I don't think this should be bad . am I right or wrong . what's the best thing I can do . I can handle some of the withdrawals.

You can't take Subutex, until you are in full withdrawal, otherwise, it may throw you into dangerous precipitated withdrawals.

The FDA classifies this medication as an opiate, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation.

What dosage do you have? It's hard to provide you with more information, without the specific details.
