Morphine Sulfate Er 20mg

What is different between IR and ER? I want to take pill and go to sleep with dreadful migraine headache due to the weather.

IR stands for immediate release and ER stands for extended release, so an IR medication is released immediately, as opposed to an ER, which is slowly released over a period of time.

But you shouldn't take either one, unless your doctor has specifically prescribed them for you. This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation.
