Updatedcan I crush morphine sulfate cr 60mg?

No, the CR stands for Controlled Release, which means this is a generic for MS Contin, a time released medication. These tablets slowly release the medication over a 12 hour time period.
By crushing it, you risk getting too much of the Morphine at once, which could cause an overdose. An overdose could cause severe organ damage and death.

Do you have trouble swallowing the tablets?
Yes, you can crush it and insuffulate it as it is water soluble. As the man above me said, watch out. If you have taken the Morph orally then you will be able to snort it. If you are taking them everyday for pain I would highly advise against this as it will build up tolerance and you might find yourself going out side your doctor to get more opiates (Heroin too eh, same s**t) because your addicted to higher doses.
Thanks for the comback on the morphine sulfate 60mg cr. I'm in agreement with Verwon about morphine, but unable to find in PDR.. I do not take this drug, just a general question.
