Morphine Sulfate Beads

On my formulary list, it shows Morphine Sulfate bead, as a category of morphine available. I am currently taking morphine sulfate ER 30 mg., but the cost is $90 for a quantity of 90 pills (1 month supply). The Morphine Sulfate bead is shown with a cost of only $15 per month.

What is the bead type of morphine and would this be an option for me to use instead of the ER type?

It is just another time released formulation in a capsule, from what I can find. Are you currently taking tablets, or a name brand?
