Morphine Sulfate 30mg Ir Duration Of Efficacy

How many hours of pain relief should i get from one morphine sulfate 30mg ir? My recent MRI showed more bulging discs in my back. My pain is worse now. I cant sleep from the lower back pain. My doctor cut my script from 80 a month to 60 with no reason why. Now I have no quality of life. I can cry. Now my life will be laying around not able to have a decent pain free day.

Did you ask your doctor why they lowered the amount prescribed?

The FDA warns that Morphine carries the risk of being habit forming, and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, constipation, and dry mouth.

We are all different, so it's difficult to say how long any given dose should provide you with relief. How long does it usually help you?
