Morphine Sulfate 100mg Er

I was on morphine sulf. Er 100mg tab. rhodes. Then I got switched to morphine sulf. 100mg er mylan. These upset my stomach why did they change my meds. Like that?.I have back pain, even had serg. The one made by rhodes worked just fine what can I do so my stomach doesn't get up set ? Thanks j.r.

Since this is a generic medication, it is manufactured by several different companies and whichever one your pharmacy has in stock depends on which company was offering the cheapest price, at the time they needed to restock their supply. Thus, if you're taking a generic medication, you really have to just expect this to happen occasionally.

As to it upsetting your stomach, it could be due to there being a different inactive ingredient in it.

Have you consulted your doctor about the problem? Taking it with food may help, or they may be able to prescribe you something to prevent the nausea.
