I take morphine 15mg extended release tabs right now and I normally take 1 Hydrocodone 10-550's but Im out of those right now..Im wondering if taking another morphine would be ok? I took the first one at 8:00am this morning and its now 7 hours later..Im in pain!

While they do make 30mg Morphine sulfate extended-release tablets, I know that everyone reacts differently to different doses, based on tolerance - So I can't necessarily imply that a higher dose will still benefit you, in contrast to any possible side effects that come along with it.
For that reason alone, it would probably be wise to discuss this approach with the doctor who prescribed you both medications, just to be on the safe side.

the reason they changed the 10 500 the 500 mg in th 10 500 is asprin so they were beating up your liver,tell your doctor you need 30 mg er morhine 3 times a day
