wife had terminal cancer,prescription :morphine sulf ir 30mg tab tab, mfg:ethex corp. direction on script take 1 to 3 tablets every four to six hours as needed

Morphine should be taken in the exact way your doctor prescribed it to you. Everyone is different, and each person reacts differently to dosage and mg amount.

If you did not recieve your prescription from an MD, I would watch out for overdose symtoms. If you start feeling: Drowsiness, pupils change in size, feeling confused, cold and clammy skin, weakened pulse, difficulty breathing, or fainting I would stop taking it right away.

Not quite sure about my V.A. Doctor. He has me on 30mg time released morphine tabs a day, and 3-4, 15 mg fast acting morphine tabs when time released seem to be wearing down. This seems to me like an awful lot per day, yet i'm still in constant pain. Which i'm having trouble getting the V.A. Doctors to run propper tests. Any information would be appreciated. Thank you

im prescribed 200mg ER morpnine per 12 hrs and also 3-30mg IR 3xs daily . How many hours apart should the 30mg IRs be apart???

Hi i am on 30mg morphine you post to take 1 every 12 hours but every 8hours is about Right so i have really bad pain in my back and Legs i have Lupus so i am in pain but itake 1 in morning and one at Night before bed and i am doing ok because i was on diaudid 4mg in bether the mophine but my dr took me off the diaudid 4mg and i am doing ok
