I am overweight but still wanted to take moriamin, but afraid I'll get heavier.

It is just a multivitamin supplement, so the only way it will actually increase weight is if someone is underweight due to a lack of one of the vital nutrients it contains.

The FDA warns that the typical side effects of vitamins usually include nausea and insomnia, in some people that take them.
