Mono Linyah Pregnancy Scare

I have been taking this birth control for three months and have been pretty good about taking my pill every day at the same time (9:30pm) or the following morning if I forgot which has been only a few times. The first two months I got my period on the first white pill day but this month I'm on my third day of white pills with still no period. There were two days I missed pills this month. Should I take a pregnancy test or is this normal? Also, I do smoke. Should I even be taking this?

I got my iud out july 25th and that was during my period. I started taytulla and have been on it for 9 days. I called and asked the doctor to change it. It kept making me feel sick so i didn't take a pill cuz of it making me nauseated. The doctors prescribed me mono-linyah so i just took one pill the next day, but did have unprotected intercourse. Does this mean i could get pregnant? Also since the doctor changed my birth control, do i need a back up till this pill kicks in?
I take my birth control (mono-linyah) every night before I go to bed. About a week ago me and my husband had intercourse that night and I forgot to take my BC. So I took it the next morning as soon as I remembered that I failed to do so the previous night after having intercourse. So basically there was about 24 hrs in between doses. According to my period tracker app about two days after ovulation is when we had intercourse. My period is always spot on. Do you think there is a good chance I may be pregnant? I took an early test but the results were unclear. The controlled side did not show completely but I did see a tad of blue on the positive/negative side. But it is also a little early for me to take one because my next scheduled period is not until the 3rd of august.
I am on my third month of taking mono-linyah and have had a fairly regular (for me at least) period for the first two packs. But this time my period was very very light and really seemed more like spotting than an actual period. My boyfriend and I have been intimately active during this pack but I took a pill everyday, without missing one. I'm worried that I may be pregnant because of this extremely light period.
Hello, Allie! How are you?
It can be normal to have irregular bleeding for a few months, while your body is adjusting to the hormones in this oral contraceptive, however, as long as you've not completely missed taking any pills, it isn't likely that you're pregnant. If you did completely miss some, as in you didn't take them, at all, or took them 24 hours late, or more, then yes, there is a risk of pregnancy.
Other side effects, as reported by the FDA, may include nausea, headache, dizziness and PMS-like symptoms.
As to the smoking, it does increase the risk of your developing blood clots, while taking hormonal contraceptives, such as this one and the risk increases with age, so most doctors will not prescribe them for a woman that smokes and is over 40.
Is there anything else I can help with?
