Modafinil And Clonazepam And Levothyroxine

I have REM sleep disorder, with mild narcolepsy, for which I take low doses of modafinil and clonazepam. I also have Hashimotos Disease, for which I had a partial thyroidectomy, and take thyroxine hormone replacement. Do any of these interfere with my blood pressure, causing it to fluctuate, and my throat is starting to sound hoarse when I sing. Should I be concerned about the hoarseness when I sing, and do the drugs cause my blood pressure to fluctuate? Thank you for your help.

Your blood pressure always fluctuates, it will never hit one set of numbers and remain there. It will vary depending on what you eat, stress levels, activity levels and etc. But the Modafanil can cause blood pressure elevations, since it is a stimulant. It can also cause elevated heart rate, nervousness and insomnia.

The hoarseness may be due to dry mouth/throat, which most medications can cause, especially these stimulants.
