Missed Progesterone Soft Gelatin Capsules And Got Bleeding

hai doctor , iam trying to get pregnant.i was prescribed to take progestrone softgel tablets for 15 days at night time orally.but i missed to take 1 and on the second day i got spotting and sometimes a little heavy bleeding.why?and what should i do? should i continue the pill?
