Hello, Haribo86! How are you?
It may help, but it will likely take several weeks. When you first start taking it, you may experience the side effect of ROL, which is REM onset latency, it causes you to spend less time in REM sleep than usual and it can take 3 to 4 weeks for things to improve and for that side effect to go away.
The FDA lists its other typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, dry mouth, headache and weight gain.
Has it been prescribed for you?
