No, Lymes requires treatment with antibiotics, how much and how long they need to be taken depends on the severity of the disease.
The FDA lists the typical side effects of antibiotic treatment as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, non-allergic skin rash and diarrhea.

The latest thing I read about for Lyme disease is intravenous Vitamin C. You'll have find a dr. of Alternative Medicine eo do that. I get intravenous drips to remove plaque from the arteries but that is a similar idea.

In answer to the question of what kind of antibiotics my daughter is on, I have the information. Amoxicillin - Metrodizonale - Minocycline. She has been on these, on and off for 4 months now, with little to no change. And as I said earlier, the endocrinologist boho put her on these meds and other supplements, does NOTHING more. She is so exhausted, depressed, and feels lost! Mentally, she is in a fog as well. That is the one thing that just breaks her heart the most, as she always had the sharpest and most intelligent mind. I'm still in shock that a tiny little tick can destroy a person. Any advice... Please?

I have had Lyme for 30+ years. I have gone the antibiotic route... 2.5 years of intensive antibiotics. I have tried many alternative treatments and am undergoing a natural protocol right now. The best hope i can give anyone lies in PREVENTION. You have to take every single deer tick bite very serious and treat it as though it was Lyme+. Insist on no less than 30 days of antibiotic treatment but better yet would be 60 - 90 days. Don't wait for the bulls-eye....only about half of the victims ever see one. Don't count on your Lyme test...false negative results are becoming the norm even for those who are Lyme+. Lyme disease is ugly and it will steal your life or the life of your child or parent or spouse or sibling or friend. It is a no joking disease, trust me. I expect to die with it. I have little hope after 30+ years of misery. DON'T be outside unprotected. PLEASE!

We have researched that Lyme Disease was created in a government laboratory on Plum Island by taking the disease syphilis and making it easily carried by ticks and other biting insects. Even a sneeze might carry it.
