Miracle Mouthwash Prescription

my doctor gave me a prescription for miracle mouthwash, when I went to have it filled, it was almost $200.00 is this the usual price for this and does it really stop a chronic severe cough?

Unfortunately, this is a regional product, not an actual regular prescription medication. These consist of a combination of certain medications that doctors in your area have found to help with certain conditions and local pharmacist know what they want put in them.

However, that means that we have no information on what it contains, what it will help with and the pricing.

Have you tried talking to your doctor or pharmacist about it?

Yes. I talked to both, Doctor was astonished at the price of it. shows you that doctors have very little idea of the cost of medication they are writing prescriptions for. Pharmacist was the one who informed me it had to be mixed with several drugs, and that it would do nothing to help a deep racking cough. Either I got a doctor who needs to update his education, or just wanted to get rid of me because he didn't know what was wrong. In mean time I am still fighting a deep racking cough that saps all my energy, with no end in sight. Obama care is kicking in, if you are over 65, your not given proper care. At least that's what it looks like to me.
