Hi Vonda,

I'm sorry to hear about what you're going through. I personally don't have much experience with narcotic pain medications, but it sounds like you may want to speak with your doctor about trying an extended release narcotic pain medication such as Opana ER (ER stands for extended release), Oxycontin, or Morphine ER.

Also, I do know from personal experience that exercise can really benefit those with fibromyalgia. My father has fibromyalgia and whenever he starts back on his exercise routine he feels a lot better. I also deal with lots of neck and back pain whenever I forget to "keep moving"- I just do light stretching and simple yoga moves and it really helps.

Please post back if you have any additional questions!
