Michigan Methadone Prescription In Mid (Top voted first)

I need a monthly prescription of methadone. Not a clinic!!!! For pain and or addiction to narcotics prescribed to me for diagnosed physical conditions. I genuinely need help. Suboxone is NOT AN OPTION! I have had a script 3x'S. Makes me feel worse! But, I continued to try... now I am prescribed 120 10-325 norco a month. Also Xanax for terrible panic Disorder. Ugh. Please help. Thank you.

Hello, Krista! How are you?

A regular doctor can only prescribe it for pain, not for addiction, that can only be done by someone specially trained in its use for such in a clinical setting.

Have you already received Methadone at a clinic for addiction/pain? If so, that is what is in your medial records and no regular practice doctor or specialist will be able to prescribe it for you.

Are the Norco helping?

Thank you soooo much for the response!! I have not ever been to a met clinic, or asked ANY DOCTOR for it. I just know it works. Suboxone was bad for my body my mind and just all around turned me into a different person. Not to mention I genuinely have a chronic pain disease and I can not get pain relief from a suboxone. The norcos work, but not for long. And not really in the right areas. thing is, I know that I will be on addictive narcotics for the rest of my life! There is no non-narcotic med that has worked yet, I can't afford lyrica and its a joke for pain anyway. I've been on norco and xanax and Prozac for like 10 years! I just need to find a doc that understans me. I was misdiagnosed with a lipoma..... And as they cut in to it as I lay talking to them...... They say Omg, we need to take you to the or BECAUSE IT WAS A HURNIA! I had 3 docs say it was lipoma. 3!!!! It was so bad I have the mesh and everything! So docs around here just seem very ignorant! I lost my insurance so I can't even see my doc now. I am simply miserable! Chronic fatigue, panic attacks constantly. I can't even clean or do ANYTHING ANYMORE! I JUST WANT MY LIFE BACK. not to mention my husband is 100% unsupportive....... In a real hard place and have been for a while. Sorry to blab on and on, but NO ONE TAKES ME SERIOUSLY ON THIS! and its nice that someone even acknowledges the fact that I hurt significantly each and every day and you haven't even seen the deterioration it has done to me not having relief.... And he sees it literally every day. Thank you! If you have ANY SUGGESTIONS OR OTHER DIRECTORIES I would appreciate it tons! I just don't know what to do.

Also, how do I ask without sounding like some kind of crazy person?I'm just so scared that they will think I'm an addict and drop me from their practice all together. Or maybe a new doctor. ?? How would I even begin?? I genuinely need help.
Thank you again! Anyone that knows of a Dr. Near mid/north Michigan that prescribes methadone for pain I just want to begin to live again. I wish the norcos worked better but its been almost a decade and I'm stillllll on them. I need something to change, and a bigggg change! Thanks again, Krista.
