Hi Judy,
Did you happen to receive any product packaging along with your prescription that suggests it's an antibiotic or are you just assuming it is?
Reason I ask is because without any markings or imprints it could literally be anyone's best guess from pharmaceuticals to dietary supplements, illicit drugs and so forth... The description is so broad that one could simply buy a red and white capsule, fill it with virtually any substance and call it whatever they want...
If I were you I'd consider the idea of having its contents analyzed by a lab, just to be on the safe side.
Did a doctor prescribe this for you to pick up at a licensed pharmacy or do they handle things differently down in Mexico?
