Metrol Medication For Blood Pressure

iv been prescribed betaloc for high blood pressure readings. my ecg is non confirmed diagnosis- sinus tachycardia & my doctor crosses out left ventricular hypotrophy because im 44kg & skinny for 27yrs old.

my doctor then ordered several blood tests today. what could this mean as he did not give me much information?

Well, what it really means is that your doctor isn't sure what the diagnosis is, which is why the blood tests were ordered, they need to either confirm or rule out some other possibilities.

When you're getting high blood pressure readings, there could be several explanations, such as kidney problems, a heart problem, fluid retention and others, or there might not be any explanation, at all.

I do understand your concern and your desire for answers, but to be honest, you might not ever find any, depending on what the other tests show.

I'm in a very similar boat and they ran tests for everything under the sun, including some odd diseases I'd never even heard of, but we never have found any explanation for why I developed high blood pressure at a very young age.

How high were your readings?
