Metoprolol is a medication that is used to treat diseases of the cardiovascular system, most commonly high blood pressure.

And yes, not only from the medication information, but from personal experience, I can tell you that it can cause those symptoms.

They are, however, considered serious reactions that you should not tolerate, along with any stomach pain and hair loss, you should contact your doctor immediately.

You will probably require a switch to a different medication. If the Metoprolol has been working for you, otherwise, there is another in the same class that is known to cause very few side effects. It is what I switched to and, even at a higher dosage, I have had no problems using it and I was found to be extremely sensitive to the effects of most of these medications and had to stop taking many of them.

It is available as a generic and name brand, Coreg and the generic for it is called Carvedilol.
