Common side effects while taking Metoprolol are: dizziness, lightheadedness, drowsiness, tiredness, diarrhea, unusual dreams, ataxia, trouble sleeping, depression, and vision problems. It may also reduce blood flow to the hands and feet, causing them to feel numb and cold; smoking may worsen this effect.

I have been on 25 mg Metoprolol succ er for about four months, I can not sleep thru the night, depressed, tired, legs feel strange, no energy and very anxious and blurred vision at times.

I am also taking Metroprolol 25 mg from last 3 days and I am extremely tired can't even do anything beside sitting down and resting. Always zero energy. Is this a sign that the medicine is not working for my body?

I taking 50mg of the Metoprolol (Succ er) I also having this problem as the 25mg. Blood pressure is very low. My pulse is fine.

Hi All
I am also using this medicine from last 6months I also feel tiredness and little vision problem but it is the safest frug to use along with that I am using one multivitamins...so dear please visit ur doctor and told about the sympotms may be u need some extra medication required
..

Metoprolol made me sleepy during the day and later gave me insomia...in 2 weeks it also made me impotent.

Bystolic was good. almost NO side effects
Now on coreg bc insurance wouldnt cover Bystolic:(
