Metoprolol Er 50 Mg And Amlodipine 10

I have been taking metoprolol ER 50mg and amlodipine 10mg for one month now. I do not take any other medication s. Just today ive started feeling like im having panic attacks hypertension my blood pressure is 180 over 100 and 30 min later after lying down my blood pressure is 146/98 pulse 75 should i be concerned.

When are you checking your blood pressure and heart rate? Are you on any other medications?

It is normal for ones blood pressure and heart rate to vary, depending on their activity levels, what they've eaten, and other factors, according to NIH studies.

But only your doctor can determine what is right for you, and whether or not your medications may need to be adjusted.

The FDA lists the typical side effects as usually including dizziness, increased urination, hypotension, and headache.

Hi, I have been taking Metoprolol 50 mg daily for about 5 weeks. I have noticed that my facial skin has become very sensitive. I am experiencing itching, dryness, flaking. I also felt a burning sensation 30 mins after putting on a sunscreen. Could this be a side effect of Metoprolol? I am also taking an antihistamine (claritin 10 mg) daily.

I just started taking the two meds together and have had a headache since this morning. I’m so tired and sleepy. Could it be an interaction or normal side effect of these meds?
