Is this generic drug still available. it is not the release. Why was the release taken off shelf?

There has been some talk about this within the community. There is an original discussion thread about this which you might be interested to read: Why has Metoprolol Succ ER 50 been recalled.

Additionally, ETHEX has issued a voluntary recall of a number of their products (including Metoprolol Succinate ER Tablets, 100mg) because "they may have been manufactured under conditions that did not sufficiently comply with current Good Manufacturing Practices" [1].

its a good medicine for me takes me out of a.fib everytime i over work my g reatlly reduced capacity heart ejection fraction less than 15%

Metoprolol er succinate was just prescribed for me. Should I take this pill, one a day, in the am or pm. Also I take Amemridarone 200, digoyxin 0.125, benicar40, xanax as needed 0.25, ,toporal xl 50mg, synthroid 05 mg, crestor 10 mg , plavix 75 mg saily plux Singular 10mg Clarinex 5mg, Zolpiden 10 (usually 1/2) for sleep. Would there be any side effects with these other mmedicines. I have only been taking it a few days so haven't noticed much except that I don't seem to be so stressed.
