whats the difference in metopolol 100mg and tartrate100mg

There is no difference, one just lists the complete name, including the designated salt tartrate and the other doesn't. They are both the same medication and will work in the same way.

Common side effects to Metoprolol may include: nausea, drowsiness, dizziness and headache.
