Methylprednisolone Expiration And Safety

My prescription for methylprednisolone tablets have not been opened. I got it on 8/29/16. Is it ok to take? It says it expires on 03/18.

What condition do you want to take it for? If it has not been opened and has not expired, it should be fine, but only a doctor can tell you when it would be appropriate to take it.

The FDA lists its typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, nervousness, palpitations, insomnia, weight changes, mood swings, and fluid retention.

Are you on any other medications?
