Methylprednisolone 4mg Dose Pack

I was given the 4mg 5 day dose pack of methylprednisolone for an allergic reaction that caused swelling of my lips and front part of my jaw. Will there be any withdrawal side effects once I have completed my prescribed dosage?

The FDA classifies this medication as a steroid and no, there shouldn't be any, if you take it as prescribed.

However, some of its side effects may still linger for a week or so, after finishing it. So you may still experience headache, insomnia, nervousness and elevated blood pressure.

I took methylprednisolne for 7 days... now hives are back in my eyes and face a day later. Should I be put back on it or is that normal?

After taking 6mg tabs per day for 15 days with my allergy controlled, again my doctor advised me 4mg tabs every day for one month. My face is now swelling after completion of the 6mg dose for the first 15 days. Please advise to continue or not?

I was taking the 4mg methylprednisolone pack (6 pills the first day, 5 pills the second day, 4 pills the third day, etc). After taking the first six pills yesterday, I now can't find the pack. It was probably brushed into the trash on accident last night. Since I only took six pills, would I be fine to just not worry about continuing the pack?
