I took methotrexate injections 15mg once a week for about 3 years off & on, mostly on for psoriasis & stopped completely in February 2015, (awful side effects). How long does this nasty drug remain in your system for? Just started on Trimethroprim for a kidney infection & one of the drugs to keep clear of is Methotrexate, will this still apply even though I have been off methotrexate for nearly 7 months now?

No, it should be fine if it's been that long, but you may want to double check with your pharmacist to be sure.
The FDA lists the typical side effects of antibiotics as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, non-allergic skin rash and diarrhea.
