Neither of these medications are analgesics to relieve pain.

These are both classified by the FDA as muscle relaxants, so they only help with pain that is caused by muscle spasming, such as that caused by sprains and strains.

Their typical side effects may possibly include nausea, dizziness, headache and dry mouth.

And they are both effective medications, so it really comes down to which one works better for you.
