I am taking the 6 dose pack for bursitis and am having side effects such as heart palpitations and shortness of breath, I keep having to take a deep breath in. is this normal or should I stop? I called primary and he said yes but orthopedic dr said this was normal side effect

The shortness of breath is concerning and if your primary told you to stop taking it, it would be best to trust their judgement.

If you need a steroid to help reduce inflammation, there are others that you can try.

The FDA lists the typical side effects as including symptoms, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, acne, palpitations and insomnia.

Are you on any other medications?
