Methadone From Uk To America Am I Allowed?

I get 80mls Methadone & 30mg prescribed daily in the U.K I'm hoping to travel to L.A.X via Chicago, my stay will be from July 4th- August 18th .Am I ok as long as I have the relevant paperwork from Doctor and sign deceleration?? Should I ask Doctor for tablet form? What is the highest dosage per physetone?

It would be best to double check with customs, but generally, as long as you have the prescription you can bring in up to a 3 month supply.

It may be different for liquids, so you will likely be better off with the tablets.

The FDA classifies this medication as a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation.
