Methadone Doctors In Knoxville Tn

PLEASE PLEASE....If anyone knows a private doctor in the surrounding areas of Knoxville Morristown, Maryville, Etc. Even further please please let me know how I am in dire need of a doctor that will prescribe Methadone!!!! My name is Kaley, please please let me know if you know any information!! & THANK YOU ALL DEARLY!!!! I was in a very very abusive relationship, I got beat just about every day, of course it is my fault for staying as long as I did!!!! He has messed my back up for life and also my neck and has broke several several bones in my body, I was also in a really really bad car wreck!! THANKS FOR LISTENING GUYS!!!!

Hello, Kaley! How are you? I am so very sorry about what you've been through.

No, it is not your fault for staying. In such situations, fear controls more of us than we'd like, so please don't blame yourself.

As to a doctor, if you are looking for pain management, due to the new regulations that were put in place last year, you'll need to see a pain management specialist. Regular PCPs can no longer prescribe such medications on a long-term ongoing basis.

However, if you've gone to a Methadone clinic, even if it was out of desperation due to pain, then you'll have to continue going to a clinic. The fact that you've gone to an addiction/maintenance clinic will be noted in your medical records and regular doctors can't prescribe it for that.

This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation.
