Methadone Doctors In Augusta Ga

I really need a doctor that prescribes Methadone in Evans or Martinez, Ga which is close to Augusta, GA. Will someone please help me ASAP?!!

There is no such a thing as a Methadone doctor.

Technically, any doctor with a license to practice medicine can prescribe it, but most are reluctant to do so, due to its highly addictive nature, and because it is so frequently abused.

Additionally, as you can read here on the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Website, if it is required for addiction treatment, or for someone in maintenance from a former addiction, it can only be given in a clinical setting under the supervision of someone specially trained in its use for such conditions. A regular doctor is not allowed to prescribe it for addiction, or maintenance treatment.
