You honestly take 200mgs. a day? That's enough to kill a horse!
Aloha I am not sure where Bham unless Alabama? Yes 200 mls is a lot but at one time I was at 450 but law have changed a lot! Here over 150 a day you have to go daily.no 6 packs, in Hawaii the state aid pays for the program unless you are well off and have private Ins that may have no coverage! Do you have pain or is this drug maintenance for you? I found going down 5 a month will get you down to levels that if you can't pay it will not be life and death here they cant auto detox more then 10 a week but that is a no win way. how long have you been on?
This is an outrage your telling this man that 200 mg of Methadone would do that damage.How do you know how much pain this gentleman is in now?
How about the money grabbing surgeons who crippled him?
@memo (thread starter),
If it's something you're interested in, I do know that MedsChat offers a free Rx savings card that may save you anywhere from 15-75% off your next prescription.
You can view/print more details about it here:
Rx Savings Card
Some manufacturers also offer patient assistance programs that help cut costs for those who meet certain income qualifications. This may be something to talk with your doctor or pharmacist about upon receiving/filling your next script.
I hope this helps!
Aloha Dan? is this for Just humans reply to the main question or Dirt's respond to 200 MG Tab or Liquid ML dose will kill a horse? The level of pain and the bodies tolerance to any drug will rise unless self control or laws made by people who know not what pain does to a persons and in in my case I told the doctors not to fix my back by fusing that was in 1986 That was the best choice for me! if you are young your body will do the best it can to fix it's self with wright people to help and pain meds to control until the body can mend. but 26 years later I have some problems!
David has a lot of great answers, each state will help when they can, by state Ins, or if you have a pain management program may fund and only have to go one time a month. Again is the Methadone used for pain or drug use withdraw?
Dan: Each Doctor does try and do there best, they are not god! Gross malpractice does happen! I waited a year and a half to choose not to have them try and fix me in 86 they have come a long way from then and each person has to make a choice.but pain is something I know and have worked through many programs that say deal with it! Ya right, if you are the one in pain it was like no one cares! DEA has done a lot to mess up the system But lets not go there.
We just want to see if this person can find better and cheaper help with Methadone.
I'm truly sorry for "ruffling so many feathers" w/ my insensitive comment. My "kiil a horse" line was careless & obtuse. I do have a question of my own if someone would be so kind to answer. I also find that the cost involved w/ making trips to the clinic & payment for my dose is more than I can afford. I live in Atlanta (Metro North), GA and am certainly interested in any financial assistance that might be available. According to my limited research there's no state or local subsidized clinics in the City of Atlanta or the metro area. Does anyone have any info. to the contrary. Does Grady or Emory happen to have any assistance programs for MMT that I may have overlooked.? Any info. for assistance w/ MMT in the Atlanta area would be greatly appreciated.
Does anyone know of a methadone clinic in east central Fl that takes medicare insurance with part D coverage? I've called a few, they say that they take medicade but not medicare,?
