I want to know why they take you blood work when you getting back on the clinic I moved away trandford out to another clince so I'm back at my old clince but it been so long why do they test your blood I know I have he c and told them that I found out from the clince before neither the blood work but the Docture nwantntonralk to me about my blood work I'm worried why and don't know why they take your blood they give a urin you when first get on then you have to do blood work does everyone does but why does it need to be done I forgot the reason why please help

Generally, the same reason that any other doctor would do blood work, on top of checking the levels of controlled substances in your body, they also check the functions of your vital organs by looking at various enzyme levels, to make sure it is safe for you to undergo treatment with the Methadone. Some health problems, such as kidney diseases, require a dosage adjustment. Additionally, they will also want to make sure that the person is seeing a doctor regularly for proper treatment, and monitoring, of any existing conditions.
Methadone carries the risk of being habit forming, and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, constipation, dry mouth, and headache.
