Methadone And Norco Together

If i take two norcos 5/325 with my 60 mg dose of methadone, will i feel it?

Nope probably not. I never do "feel it" but if you are looking for pain control it still works better than tylenol/Advil with the methadone. Any narcotics are hard to "feel" while on Methadone.

Wont feel it at all, its like taking your pills and throwing right out your window...dont waste your time...

I am a clinical pain management pharmacist.
Are you taking methadone for chronic pain or addiction?

If for addiction, you should not be taking any other opioids with your methadone. If for pain, the answer is yes. Methadone does not block the pain relieving effects of other opioids. Dependeding on your degree of tolerance to opioids, you may get sufficient pain relieving effect.

I do not know your situation, but If you are taking it to feel euphoric or high, it will most likely not do anything because methadone may prevent the euphoria of other opioids by saturating the "euphoria" receptors.

I took 70mg of oxycodone with my 130mg methadone dose and felt NOTHING, but did get a LITTLE pain relief. "It doesn't block other narcotics" my ass. lol. It actually does block it, just more in a "filling it up" kind of way. So I would say, either save your money if you are looking for euphoria, OR....get your hands on quite a few if you need pain control. I stick with TORADOL, a very strong NSAID, only by prescription, only for 5 days or less and it helps more than anything with pain with methadone. But, almost any doctor will give it, it's not controlled, just too strong to be on the shelf. Causes stomach bleeding if you take too much or too frequently.

The only opiate I've ever felt above my methadone is fentynal. But please be careful.
