Metformin Pill Markings

I have a round white metformin pill with a large or capitol H and the number 102 is it 500 mg. I have always had the oblong pill

Yes, this is listed as being a 500mg Metformin tablet, it's manufactured by Heritage Pharmaceuticals.

It is normal for your pharmacy to sometimes provide you with medication from a different manufacturer, because whichever one they have in stock will depend on who was offering the cheapest price, when they needed to restock their supply. It is how they keep prices as low as possible for customers without insurance.
